Gemma released several EPs and albums as 'Woodpecker Wooliams', touring Europe, Russia and the Baltics extensively and performing at multiple festivals around europe and the uk -including the Meltdown festival curated by yoko ono- before putting this particular guise to rest in 2013,

 

HER MUSIC HAS APPEARED IN TWO Independent FILMS ('ANNI', 2011, and British council-funded 'the voice of the unicorn', 2019) AND Two BBC DOCUMENTARies:  'THE DISORDERED EYE' (BBC4) 2020, and 'Targeted: The Truth about Disability Hate Crime (BBC2) 2021.
